Gospel singer Reuben has been involved in a road accident this morning after his Mark X, registration number BLA 9723, plunged into a drainage along the Great North Road near Six Miles.

He escaped unhurt and was seen in a photograph calling for help shortly after the incident.

The cause of the accident has not yet been established.
